2 Day Humantay Lake with Glamping Sky Domes

We will take a tour along a route surrounded by snow-capped mountains until we reach the quiet Humantay lagoon on this adventure hike that begins in Cusco.

Our tour includes round-trip transportation from the center of Cusco, the entire route will be accompanied by the experience of our local guide. Throughout the route we will follow ancient paths made by the Incas.

Take the Salkantay route until you reach Lake Humantay on this adventure hike, our guide will take us appreciating uninterrupted views of the imposing peak of Mount Salkantay. We include round-trip transportation from your hotel in the center of Cusco.

Cusco: 3,350 meters above sea level (10,990 feet)
Mollepata: 2,790 meters above sea level (9,153 feet).
Soraypampa: 3,910 meters above sea level (12,828 feet)
Laguna Humantay: 4,200 meters above sea level (13,780 feet).

DAY 1CUSCO | CHALLACANCHA – SORAYPAMPA – HUMANTAY LAKE (Glamping Sy Domes)–

Very early in the morning your mountain guide and our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco.

The first stop will be in Mollepata for breakfast, then we will continue our route to Challacancha for a short rest, from this point we will begin our walk towards Soraypampa. On this first opportunity, we will begin a physical challenge that will help you acclimatize to the altitude.

We will arrive at our destination, The Sky Domes Camp which has private bathrooms and a hot hydromassage shower, located in front of the majestic and snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay, where the reception staff will be waiting for you with an exquisite lunch and then there will be some free time for us.

We will prepare to begin a light walk towards the turquoise lagoon of Humantay, 4200 meters above sea level. We will spend an unforgettable night accompanied by thousands of stars and constellations.

Walking time to the turquoise Humantay Lake: 3 hrs (round trip).
